Tour de Kainuu is a road cycling event taking place on 27 June 2025, set in the stunning fell landscapes of Vuokatti and the Kainuu region. This community-focused event is a non-competitive ride, where participants cycle in different pace groups according to riding speed, enjoying the scenery and the joy of cycling itself.
The event offers three different route options, providing challenges and memorable experiences for cyclists of varying skill levels:
- 151 km Vaarojen kierto is a renewed long route for more experienced riders. It loops through Kainuu’s most impressive fell landscapes and offers an unforgettable day on the bike.
- 81 km Tour de Nuas is a diverse and scenically beautiful route, perfectly suited for an enjoyable long day of riding.
- 34 km Tour de Sotkamo is a completely new, shorter route option that provides an exciting cycling experience also for less experienced riders.
The Tour de Nuas and Tour de Sotkamo routes can also be ridden with an e-bike.
