Due to the warm weather conditions, Vuokatti Hiihto will use an alternative course to ensure the best possible conditions for participants.
On the alternative route, the 30 km distance will be shortened to approximately 28 km. In addition to the lowland loop, the course will include the Porttivaara loop.
The 50 km course will be shortened to 45 km. Besides the lowland section, the route will include an out-and-back loop on the ice at Pisterinniemi as well as the Porttivaara loop.
The 100 km course will be shortened to 90 km and will consist of two laps of the 45 km course.
The 14 km course will include the lowland loop as well as an out-and-back section in the direction of Katinkulta, toward Jäätiönkylä.
There will also be some adjustments to the start schedules.
New course maps will be published on Thursday, March 12 in the morning. The updated start times will be released at the same time.
