Recent snowfall has significantly improved trail conditions in Vuokatti, and the Vuokatti Ski event is currently set to take place as originally planned, using the scheduled routes and timetable.
There are still a few sections along the course affected by ice formation. These areas are being actively monitored, and additional snow will be applied before the event if other measures to manage water and ice do not sufficiently improve conditions.
There are still two weeks to go until the Vuokatti Ski event on Saturday, March 14. Should weather conditions change significantly before the event, the organizers have also prepared an alternative course to ensure the event can be held safely and in good skiing conditions.
