Lost in Kainuu Adventure features a user-friendly registration system that allows you to easily update your details even after signing up. We also offer a diverse selection of payment methods. Starting from 2026, you can pay the personal portion of your participation fee using sport benefits.

Register for the event
To register for the Lost in Kainuu Adventure, please choose one of the following methods:
- DIRECT REGISTRATION SERVICE Choose this if the entire team’s participation fee will be paid in full via online banking or credit/debit card
- SPORT BENEFIT REGISTRATION FORM Choose this if at least one member of the team is paying for their participation using a sport benefit payment method. Read the instructions for sport benefit registration here.

Lost in Kainuu Adventure – Best with a group!
Lost in Kainuu Adventure is best enjoyed witha group or a good friend. A little excitment from the night before in preparation for the day ahead, the event itself and the edorphin-steaming aftergames. They’ve been made into a real adventure with a friend.

Participation fees
The earlier you sign up, the more you save
Lost in Kainuu Adventure has staggered participation fees, so the earlier you register, the cheaper it gets.
The participation fee is team-specific for all series. In the Casually Lost and Casually Charged series, the participation fee is based on the team price for the first two individuals of the team, but for any additional 1-3 persons, it is based on an individual price per additional person.

All series registration fees include:
The entry fee includes:
– All competition materials (2-3 sets of route maps, 1 route book, 1 competition instruction, competition numbers, etc.)
– GPS tracking (1 device per team)
– Equipment and supplies for quests (adventure tasks)
– Competition support services as per competition instructions (route service points and finish line service point)
– Finish line soup meal
– Showers and changing rooms (at the Event Centre)
– Placement prizes
– Commemorative prize
– Additional map set (Note! The registration fee includes a map set for each team member in all categories except Casually Lost, where the map set is default for 2 people only, and 3-5 additional map sets can be reserved in the registration service for 5€ each)
Additionally included in the following categories:
EXTREMELY LOST 24 H
– Bus transport to the starting line (incl. mandatory equipment: backpack and cycling helmet)
– Bike transport to the starting line (incl. map holder, gear bags, and water bottles – no cycling shoes attached to the bike!)
– Transport of equipment during the competition (each participant packs one (1) transport box or bag, with a maximum size of 60 liters and a maximum weight of 10 kg when packed)
– Open canoe x 1 (including 3 paddles, 3 life vests, NOTE! the team provides a temporary seat in the middle of the canoe for the team’s third member)
– Meals: Fri soup meal at 18.00-24.00 (during the race)
LOST 16-18 H
– Gear transport to the overnight/rest area (each participant will be provided with one 150-liter trash bag to be packed for transport to the overnight area for Friday–Saturday; please pack your team’s tent/shelter, sleeping gear, and snacks!)
– Open canoe x 1 (including 2 paddles, 2 life vests)
– Meals: Fri soup meal at 18.00-24.00, Sat breakfast at 4.00-6.00
ALMOST LOST 6-8 H
– Open canoe x 1 (including 2 paddles, 2 life vests)
the Finnish Student Championship
Teams participating in the Finnish Student Championship competition will receive a discount on the entry fee: €30 in the Extremely Lost category, €20 in the Lost category, and €10 in the Almost Lost, Casually Lost and Casually Charged categories. All team members must have a valid student ID during the competition. Student IDs will be checked on-site.
