Best services

At Lost in Kainuu Adventure you will find versatile services for every need

Complete your event experience with Lost in Kainuu Adventure’s additional services.

MTB and Fatbike Rental:

For bike rentals, we recommend contacting the tourism companies directly in the Sotkamo-Vuokatti area. This year, the organizers do not offer bike rentals, as there are plenty of other commercial providers in the area.

We recommend checking with Vuokatti Ski-Service for MTB and fatbike rentals.

Mountain bikes are suitable for all our adventure series. We recommend fatbikes only for the Almost Lost and Casually Lost series if the main goal is an enjoyable adventure rather than speed.

NOTE! If your team still needs a bike for the adventure, please contact jukka.liuha@rastiviikko.fi directly. We will check if we can arrange any bikes.

Map Holder Rental:

Through our partner, karttatelineet.com, we have secured 25 map holders for rental to participants of our event.

The map holders are the Autopilot One model, suitable for handlebars with a thickness of 25.4 mm, 31.8 mm, or 35.0 mm.

Rental reservations are accepted until September 2 at 11:59 PM on a first-come, first-served basis at jukka.liuha@rastiviikko.fi. The reservation email must include the following information:

Subject: Lost In Kainuu 2024 / Map Holder Reservation
In the message:

  • Renter’s name
  • Team name
  • Handlebar thickness: 25.4 mm, 31.8 mm, or 35.0 mm

The rental price is €25.00. The rental fee can be paid on-site when picking up the team materials.

NOTE! The reservation is binding, as we pre-order the reserved map holders. If a participant or team cancels their participation in the adventure, we will still need to charge the map holder rental fee.
