The Lost in Kainuu Adventure Race will take place this year in the Hyrynsalmi-Ukkohalla area on September 5-6, 2025. A new race category, Casually Charged 3-4 H, is being introduced for this year’s adventure. This category is designed for e-bike riders, but teams may also include members using regular mountain bikes.
The other familiar race categories remain the same: Extremely Lost 24 H, Lost 16-18 H, Almost Lost 6-8 H, and Casually Lost 3-4 H.
The Lost in Kainuu Adventure Race will also host the Adventure 1 Finnish Championship, which will be contested in the 24-hour category among all competing teams.
Additionally, the race will feature the Finnish Student Championships, with medals awarded in the Extremely Lost and Lost race categories (women’s, men’s, and mixed teams). Extremely Lost is a race for three-member teams. Lost is a race for two-member teams.
The relaxed series does not award championship medals but offers small product prizes. Almost Lost (Relaxed series) teams compete in two-member teams. Casually Lost & Casually Charged (Relaxed series) teams can consist of 2–5 members.
